@Deependra Yeah, I agree. After I wrote the article, I realized that I should have been more clear about the context of the advice. I think this is probably most applicable to self-taught programmers or designers-turned-programmers who don’t have a lot of background on some of the basics. Anyway, hopefully someone got something out of it. Thanks for the feedback.

Very nice post. Although most of the things are known to everybody but it is also true that most of the persons overlook them. Your post is a reminder to check all the things again and follow these rules.

Just wanted to say this is an excellent post. All very true and most of it is stuff we already know, but we don’t put together into complete thoughts until it’s too late. Normally when I talk about these things is when I’m under the gun, cussing under my breath.
